Large pieces at Soulraven begin with a consultation and a placement photo, and this one shows why. Each element sits where it reads best when the arm hangs naturally: the eagle’s wings wrap the bicep, the watch face lands on the outer elbow, and the compass fills the flat of the forearm. Background shading carries the eye across the joints.
The sleeve was built over several sessions, each area healed before the next was worked. The second photograph shows it mid-way, outlines and first shading in place, before the final passes of detail.
