This is how many of the studio’s anime sleeves come together. The client starts with one character, lives with it, and comes back for the next, and the artist plans each new piece so it fits the space and the flow of what is already there. Colour is kept saturated and the black outlines strong, which is what makes anime tattoos hold up in the sun.
The close-up shows the line quality that matters in character work: the hair spikes, the eyes and the energy aura have to match the source frame exactly or fans will notice.
