Lettering is unforgiving. A wobble in a letter, uneven spacing or a font that is too thin for the size will show forever, and spelling is checked and checked again before the stencil goes on. Bring the exact text, the language, and the feel you want: handwritten, elegant, bold, or in a script such as Arabic or Amharic.
Placement matters. Ribs, spine, forearm and collarbone all suit a line of text; fingers and the sides of hands fade fastest and need bold, simple letters.
Consultations for custom, large and cover-up work are J$2,000, in the studio. A 50% deposit secures your date.
