Floral tattoos are among the most requested pieces at Soulraven Studios, from a single fine-line flower to shoulder, chest and full-back compositions. They are worked mostly in black and grey, which gives petals their depth and lets the design flow with the body.
Flowers solve a lot of problems. They flow around a shoulder, wrap a forearm, fill the space between other tattoos and hide old ink in a cover-up. Roses and peonies carry the most shading; lilies and hibiscus give long, elegant lines; leaves and stems connect pieces into a composition.
Larger floral work is planned like any large piece: consultation, placement photo, a composition drawn for the body, and sessions with healing time between them.
Consultations for custom, large and cover-up work are J$2,000, in the studio. A 50% deposit secures your date.

Questions
Floral questions
Can flowers cover an old tattoo?
Yes, and they are one of the best subjects for it. Dense petals and dark leaves hide old ink well. See cover-ups.
